(These are all alternative names for Tropical Lingzhi, i.e., Ganoderma tropicum.)
Rè Dài Líng Zhī (Tropical Lingzhi) is a traditional Chinese medicinal material. It is the fruiting body of Ganoderma tropicum (Jungh.) Bres., a fungus belonging to the family Polyporaceae. It was first recorded in Zhonghua Bencao (Chinese Materia Medica).

Modern Pharmacology
Anti‑tumor effects: Tropical Lingzhi has anti‑tumor medicinal value. Fungi of the genus Ganoderma generally contain triterpenoids with anti‑tumor and immunomodulatory activities. Cardiovascular protective effects: It can be used in the treatment of coronary heart disease. Sedative and hypnotic effects: Commonly used in folk medicine for sedation and insomnia. Other effects: Fungi of the genus Ganoderma also exhibit antibacterial, hypoglycemic, and immune‑enhancing pharmacological activities.
Ingredients
Triterpenoids: One of the main active components of the genus Ganoderma, with anti‑tumor, immunomodulatory, and hypoglycemic functions. Polysaccharides: Tropical Lingzhi contains Ganoderma polysaccharides. Phenolic compounds: Two new phenolic compounds, ganodermatropin A and ganodermatropin B, have been isolated from the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma tropicum. Other components: Tropical Lingzhi also contains sterols, alkaloids, and other active components.
Usage & Dosage
For oral administration: decoct in water, 3–9 g; or grind into powder and take with water.
