Jīn Xiè Liú is a traditional Chinese medicinal material. It is the flower of Bredia oldhamii Hook. f., a plant belonging to the family Melastomataceae. It grows in forests among mountains at altitudes of 200–2,500 meters. It is recorded in Zhonghua Bencao (Chinese Materia Medica).
