Adsorption and detoxification: Adsorbs bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Shigella dysenteriae, and Staphylococcus aureus, as well as harmful elements including cadmium, mercury, arsenic, and lead. Hepatoprotective: Prevents alcoholic liver damage and inhibits hepatic fatty degeneration. Promotes fracture healing: Shortens healing time, increases trace element content in callus, and improves bone strength. Anti‑fatigue and anti‑hypoxia: Prolongs swimming time and survival time under normobaric hypoxia. Antioxidant: Increases superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, reduces lipid peroxidation, and delays aging. Promotes growth and development: Increases body weight and raises RNA and DNA content in the liver. Sedative: Reduces spontaneous locomotor activity in mice. Cardiotonic: Enhances the contractile force of isolated toad hearts.
Ingredients
Oxides and elements: Silicon dioxide (SiO₂), aluminum oxide (Al₂O₃), ferric oxide (Fe₂O₃), ferrous oxide (FeO), magnesium oxide (MgO), calcium oxide (CaO), sodium oxide (Na₂O), potassium oxide (K₂O), titanium dioxide (TiO₂), phosphorus pentoxide (P₂O₅), manganese oxide (MnO), etc. Macroelements: Potassium (K), sodium (Na), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), etc. Trace elements: Zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), selenium (Se), copper (Cu), molybdenum (Mo), strontium (Sr), iodine (I), fluorine (F), etc. Rare earth elements: Lanthanum (La), cerium (Ce), yttrium (Y), ytterbium (Yb), etc.
Usage & Dosage
Internal use: Take 1 part of Maifanstone and add 6–8 parts of boiling water. Cold‑steep for 4–6 hours before drinking; or steep in hot water for 2–3 hours; or boil for 20–25 minutes. The same material can be used repeatedly for up to 30 cycles. External use: Appropriate amount, grind into an extremely fine powder and apply topically; or soak in water for external washing. Precaution: For external application, it must be ground into an extremely fine powder; otherwise, it may cause pain.

Selected Formulas
1. For dorsal carbuncle (Fabei) – from Yifang Leiju citing Qianjin Yueling (Lujiao Gao) Take one whole deer antler (burn to charcoal, let cool, crush and sieve into powder); about 250 g of medical stone (wash, dry, break into pieces the size of chess pieces, remove any powder, heat in a clean flatiron until red, then soak in rice vinegar, remove after a while, dry, and repeat the heating and soaking nine times, finally sieve into powder); 30 g of Bailian (Ampelopsis root) (grind and sieve). Sieve the three ingredients separately through fine silk. Take one large spoonful of each, add 0.5 liter of rice vinegar, and decoct over moderate heat, adding more vinegar if needed, until the mixture becomes a paste (about 50 boils). Store in a clean porcelain container. Apply the paste on old cloth and stick onto the sore. Change once daily until pus is discharged. After the sore subsides, apply a plaster. 2. For acne, eczema, tinea pedis, prickly heat, skin allergies, hyperpigmentation, chapped fingers, and other skin diseases – from Zhongyi Hanshou (1987, 4:48) Take 500 g of medical stone, wash, place in a container, and add 2 kg of boiling water. Soak for 24 hours. Use the solution to wash the affected area once daily. Change the solution every 3–5 days. For hand skin diseases, soak hands in the solution for a few minutes each day, then allow the water to air‑dry naturally for better effect.
Daily Consumption
1. Boiling as tea substitute: Take an appropriate amount of Maifanstone, wash it, then boil it together with water in a kettle, or simply steep it in water. This helps adsorb impurities from the water and supplement minerals. 2. Cooking rice and making soup: When cooking rice, add 3–5 pieces of Maifanstone to the rice. When making soup or stewing meat, add an appropriate amount of Maifanstone. This makes the rice soft and glutinous, and the soup more savory and fragrant. 3. Water purification: Place Maifanstone granules in a water dispenser or a water tank. Use 50–100 g of Maifanstone per liter of water. Let stand for 2–4 hours, then the water is ready to drink. 4. Skincare and beauty: Wash your face or apply a face mask with water that has been soaked with Maifanstone. It gently cleanses the skin and supplements trace elements.
