Chinese Yam Soy Milk

Main Ingredients

  • Iron Stick Yam 120g
  • dried soybeans 45g
  • plain water 800ml
  • goji berry 6g
  • rock sugar 10g

Steps

  1. Soak the dried soybeans in plain water for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight), then drain and rinse well.

  2. Peel and cut the iron stick yam into small pieces, then immediately submerge them in plain water to prevent browning.

  3. Add the soaked soybeans and yam pieces to a blender, along with 800 ml of water.

  4. Choose the "Soy Milk / Grain Milk" setting, start the machine, and the cycle runs for about 25 minutes.

  5. When the cycle is done, add rock sugar to taste and stir until dissolved.

  6. Pour the mixture into cups, top with a few goji berries for garnish, and serve immediately. No straining is required.
