Dried Fig & Goji Berry Tea is a classic wellness tea originating from folk remedies. Main Ingredients

  • Dried figs 10-15g
  • Goji berries (wolfberries) 5-10g
  • Rock sugar to taste
  • Honey to taste

Steps

  1. Rinse 2-3 dried figs (about 10-15g) and cut or tear into 3-4 small pieces to release active compounds. Rinse 10-15 goji berries (about 5-10g).

  2. Put the prepared figs and goji berries into a teacup or thermos. Pour freshly boiled water (about 300-500ml) over the ingredients. Cover and steep for 5-10 minutes. If using a thermos, steep for 1 hour for richer flavor.

  3. Add rock sugar to taste, or add honey after the tea cools to warm. Consume 1 dose daily, drinking frequently as tea. Finally, chew and eat the figs and goji berries.

Dried Figs: Rich in amino acids (18 known types, 10 essential for the human body), vitamins A and C, and selenium (selenium content is 100 times that of edible mushrooms and 400 times that of garlic), also containing fructose, glucose (about 20%), lipase, and protease. Known for clearing heat, generating fluids, strengthening the spleen, and detoxifying, they help relieve sore throat, dry cough with hoarseness, and constipation due to intestinal heat. Goji Berries (Wolfberries) : Rich in polysaccharides, β-carotene, vitamin B1, vitamin C, calcium, and iron. Known for nourishing the liver and kidneys, and improving vision, they help with dizziness, tinnitus, blurred vision, and eye strain caused by liver-kidney deficiency. Synergistic Effect: Figs are cooling and clear internal heat; goji berries nourish yin and tonify the kidneys. Together, they achieve the effects of generating fluids, clearing heat, moistening the lungs, relieving cough, nourishing the liver, and improving vision. This tea is very low in calories and rich in various vitamins and trace elements – a nourishing wellness tea.
