Soups
Luo Han Guo (Monk Fruit) & Lean Pork Soup
Luo Han Guo & Lean Pork Soup is a traditional Cantonese nourishing soup, made with Luo Han Guo (monk fruit) and lean pork as the main ingredients, supplemented with dried tangerine peel, and slowly simmered. Luo Han Guo, known as the “immortal fruit”, is sweet in taste and cool in nature, entering the Lung and Spleen meridians. It clears the lungs, relieves sore throat, resolves phlegm, stops cough, and moistens the intestines to relieve constipation. Dried tangerine peel regulates qi, strengthens the spleen, and dries dampness to resolve phlegm. Lean pork nourishes yin, moistens dryness, and tonifies deficiency. The natural sweetness of Luo Han Guo and the fragrant aroma of tangerine peel blend together, creating a sweet, refreshing, and non-greasy soup. It is suitable for daily conditioning of lung-heat cough, sore throat, and constipation due to intestinal dryness.
