Governor Vessel (GV)

The Governor Vessel (Du Mai) is one of the Eight Extraordinary Meridians. It originates from the interior of the lower abdomen, emerges at the perineum, ascends along the posterior midline of the spine, passes through the lumbar region, back, neck, and head, and terminates at the acupoint Yinjiao (GV-28) inside the upper lip.
