Precise Location

On the forearm, 3 cun above the distal crease of the wrist dorsum, on the line connecting Yangxi (LI-5) and Quchi (LI-11). Cross the tiger mouths of both hands vertically – the point is exactly where the tip of the middle finger of the lower hand falls on the dorsum of the upper hand.

Massage Method

① Massage: Press and knead Pianli with the thumb. ② Moxibustion: Apply mild-warm moxa stick. Therapeutic actions: Disperses wind and releases the exterior, unblocks the collaterals and relieves pain, promotes diuresis and reduces swelling.

Neurasthenia: Combine with Taiyuan (LU-9) and Xiabai (LU-4). Epistaxis (nosebleeds): Combine with Hegu (LI-4), Shanglian (LI-9), Kunlun (BL-60), and Tonggu (BL-66).
